The Conservative MP for South Basildon and East Thurrock met with Andrew Pike, Managing Director, to discuss winter plans and received an update on Basildon Hospital activity, as well as ongoing autumn programmes such as the flu vaccination campaign.

Patients at Southend Hospital have applauded the hard work and dedication of their community physiotherapy team. The team have been keeping in contact using virtual video appointments with patients in the comfort and safety of their own home.

Changes to the Maternity Unit at Basildon Hospital are already making a positive difference with fewer babies needing to be admitted to neonatal intensive care.
